Hi all,
I have been a long fourth dimension lurker and have gleaned much useful information on this form - thanks anybody!
I have a question about using the Canon Camera Connect App with a Samsung Tab A 10.1 and my EOS 80D.
I have installed a 128GB SD card in my Samsung tablet and would like to use information technology back up/review photos when I am out camping ground etc.
My consequence is that I don't seem to exist able to change the storage location in the Catechism Camera Connect App. Information technology puts all photos on the tablets internal storage instead of the SD card.
Does anyone know how to exercise this?

Unfortunately, there is no fashion to modify the default storage location from internal to SD card. Apparently, it is a bit more work to lawmaking for the SD bill of fare. I think Google, in gild to avoid fragmentation of Android variants, discourages App writers from using SD cards. You may find none of Google'south ain Apps uses SD cards.
Only the primary reason to buy a large SD card is to store lots of media files, including videos and photos.
I wrote a review on this matter on Google Play Store. I guess if enough customers mutter, Canon may take the effort to add this choice.
Meanwhile, if I plan to shoot a lot, I will move my photos from internal to SD card every night.
